We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
Solidten is strictly for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect or process data from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, do not use this app or submit any personal data.
1. Who We Are
Solidten ("we", "us", "our") operates the Solidten mobile application available on Android and iOS. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at solid10.support@gmail.com.
2. Data We Collect
Account information
- Email address (used for login and account recovery)
- Password (stored as a secure hash via Firebase Authentication — we never see it in plain text)
Profile information
- Display name
- Date of birth (used for age verification and display)
- Gender
- Location (country, state/region, city)
- Profile photos you choose to upload
Usage data
- Ratings you give to other users
- Ratings you receive from other users
- Your rating queue and interaction history
- Privacy preferences (e.g. whether your rating is public)
Technical data
- Device type and operating system (collected automatically by Firebase)
- App usage analytics via Firebase Analytics (anonymised)
- Crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics
Payment and billing data (future)
Solidten is currently free to use. When we introduce optional premium subscriptions, payments will be processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store — we will not collect or store your payment card details directly. We may receive confirmation of purchase status (e.g. active subscription, expiry date) from the platform to unlock premium features.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the Solidten service
- To display your profile to other users for rating
- To calculate and display your rating scores
- To rank users in local and global leaderboards (if your rating is set to public)
- To send transactional emails (password reset, account verification)
- To improve the app using anonymised analytics
- To investigate and fix bugs and technical issues
- In the future, to manage optional premium subscriptions and verify purchase status
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Google Firebase — our backend infrastructure (authentication, database, storage, analytics). Data is stored in the EU region where possible. See Firebase Privacy.
- Other users — your profile (name, photos, location) is visible to other users who rate you. Your rating score is visible to others only if you set it to public in Settings.
- Google Play / Apple App Store (future) — when subscriptions are introduced, payment transactions will be handled by the platform you use to download the app. Their respective privacy policies apply: Google Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal data — including your profile, photos, ratings given, and ratings received — is permanently and immediately deleted. No data is retained after deletion.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location (including under GDPR if you are in the EU/EEA), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Data portability

7. Cookies
The Solidten mobile app does not use cookies. Our website may use essential cookies for functionality only.
8. Children's Privacy
Solidten requires users to be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us immediately.
9. Security
All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. We use Firebase's built-in security rules to restrict access to your data. Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password for your account.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
